Look at him, Wifey, he's such an adorable thing! Everything we have imagined him to be - beautiful, elegant, intelligent and well, expensive!
The moment i got him home, i immediately placed him in bed and sat in the sofa across. I took a good 10-minute stare while wearing a proud smile. It was one quiet
yet eventful 10 minutes of my life. I still could not believe my eyes that he is finally ours to keep.
My heart is sad, though, because you are not here to share in the experience of seeing him the first time. We dreamt of him together, we prayed for him together that seeing him alone not only feels but really is incomplete. When we come to see you next month, we will have the complete experience.
Understandable of a first-time parent, i wanted Akiko to be fully dressed and padded against harsh elements. So the day after I got him, i went back to the store to get him accessories and a nice comfy crib. He could not be exposed to dust! Or without protection against rough hands!
We will be good parents to Akiko, i am sure.
Excited to enjoy life with you...and Akiko.
Missing you every minute,
Hubby
Akiko means "born in autumn". We thought of the name because it's almost autumn in Japan, where Akiko was bought.

Doing as the Japanese do
[the work]
After a week of being here in Japan, i feel im more tired and stressed out. I reach the apartment on the average around 11PM daily. Since braincells are still hyper, i couldn't sleep until around 1AM. Work per se is not toxic. The only stressful part for me is staying longer because everyone else in the office is not going home yet. That's the japanese work culture.
[the looks]
Since we had to report to the office on saturday(stayed until around 1030PM), i had to do the laundry today. Left the laundry to dry and went to church then came back to do the ironing. Unlike in the Philippines, i have to be in business attire.
[the trash]
My trash is piling up. I need to get rid of these before i get buried underneath pet bottles and milk cartons. There's a designated day for collection of bio, non-bio, and recyclables but don't have the time to place my trash in time for the collection. I can get them in time if i have to wake up early. Going home early is next to impossible.
will post more later. im tired now. good night!

Gaikokujin
Just to broadcast to friends that i am currently in Japan.
I took a 9AM JAL flight from Manila and reached the weekly mansion at around 5PM today. The mansion is located 5 minutes on foot from Tamachi station, and 13 minutes (according to John) away from our Mita office.
Was tired the whole travel because aside from the heavy luggage i was dragging, i did't get much sleep since a few days back. The stresses of work have finally caught on :( Add to that the fact that it's going to be Wifey and mine's first time to be far away from each other for an extended period of time.
Hopefully work here won't be as demanding as my previous business trips so at least i only have to deal with missing a Wifey :(
Will post more stuff later...hopefully i'll have time off from work to do so.
