I didn't see the MMDA guys when i made that U-Turn where i am not supposed to. Talk about integrity (coincidentally, today's sermon is about Integrity.Ouch!). Spirit's prodding after talking to the apprehending officer made me took the full punishment by allowing the officer to issue me a ticket. I deserve it.
So there. Not a good example.
I learned my lesson: Follow the instructions even if nobody(or so you think) is watching.

Second honeymoon in Macau
Here are pics of our second honeymoon in Macau last March 19.
Trying to camouflage ourselves beside the broken pillars. duh!
This time the pillars are camouflaging behind us. :)
Leal Senado at night. Taken on the night we arrived. Talk about energy (or plain boredom in hotel, maybe? =))
The famous Ruins of St. Paul.
Jumping at Fisherman's Wharf
Too much time
Got a bit too much time this holiday...:)
The base pictures were taken during our Navigator Alumni meeting last wednesday.

In Honor of Saturday and Sunday
It's a rare occasion to be around the house on weekends. Usually, by friday night, wifey and i are already in Antipolo shouting out our lungs in Dad's magic sing.
But this weekend we chose to stay in our small, make that smaller, house without so much of agenda. we planned to address the weekend days as they unfold. that kind of strategy, i like.
[saturday]
We woke up early on Saturday to the call of our tubero (plumber),Ardy, whom i commissioned to fix our leaking pipes. Our water bill has suddenly surged to almost triple of what we usually pay, hence the tubero. Ardy came with an assistant and they did their stuff with the pipes, calling us occasionally for some clarifications with designs (like do we want the pipe hanging or along the ground).
While the tuberos were busy with their thing, wifey and i decided to turn on my laptop and watch Jack Bauer (he's the lead of the famous tv series, 24) save the world. Man, this tv series is sooo addicting. I think ill have a lot to confess and offer sacrifice for this sin this Lent. Good thing, wifey share the same addiction(sin loves company? hehehe). We started with the first episode upto the 4th episode, pausing only when planes passby (everything in the house had to pause when these planes pass by (bespren can attest to that.)and to answer calls of nature and that of the tubero.
Just before lunch, had to go to work to do some hardware inventory so we hesitantly left off when Jack just finished killing Curtis (sorry for the spoiler).
I finished work around 4PM. While i was at work, Wifey went ahead with the next episode of 24 so when i got back home, i watched alone. She took the opportunity to doze off.
So far our day was just lazy...and perfect.
After the tuberos left (they needed to come back the following day for follow-up and for further fixing), we decided we'd hit the mall. This time, we wanted Mall Of Asia.
The MOA trip wasnt really fantastic but we had a stomach full, thanks to Gumbo (try ordering Jambalaya and you'll hear the chefs shout "AAAHHH JAMBALAYA!" or something like that, when the Jambalaya is done).
[sunday]
Okay, so we woke up again early. And yes, its the tubero again. Actually, it's my fault for asking him to come early so wifey and i could catch the 9AM VCF service.
After the tubero finished his work (this time he came alone), we paid him and got ready for church.
We got in at the church just in time for the tithes and offering. Wifey was disappointed that we did not catch the praise and worship, her favorite part, she says. The message was on the apostle's creed. Pastor Steve tackled that part about "holy catholic church". As usual, he's funny and the words are juicy.
After church, we decided to go to UP Diliman, with the aim of reminiscing college days through isaw(barbequed chicken intestines) and the lagoon. On the way to UP, we stopped at World Topps and joined Maela's parents for lunch. We had pan-am chicken garlic(me), fish fillet macau(mom), beef something(dad) and pulutan tops(wifey).
We also dropped by Molave Dorm to pick the fundraising items from Nav students(thanks Roy and Garner!).
At the lagoon, temperature was up and so was the humidity. We kept stuffing tissue papers in our arm pits (oops!) to keep the rest of our shirts' sleeves dry (i even had a song, in the tune of "ang bango-bango ng bulaklak" and it goes: ang basa-basa (3x) ng armpit ko, pag dumidikit(3x) anong lagkit...)
Our lagoon time gave me and wifey a great time to connect especially talking about our childhood years. I liked that part about how our parents brought us up with respect to education. My parents weren't really involved with our education in that i never had any study/homework sessions with them unlike those with Maela and her parents. She said she even had role playing games with her parents: she is the teacher and the parents of course are the students. She would give quizzes and would call her dad's attention if he's not participating. how cute! i hope our kids would imitate her.
Of course, our trip would not be complete without my camera. Here are some pics i took with my new circular polarizer filter on.
