Dr Maria Vinella Natividad Estrellanes!

The result got out last night. We were almost asleep when we got a text message from Maela's friend. The sms said "Congrats Dr Natividad!". We called her friend to ask how she got the result. She said, its in Manila Bulletin.

We immediately got up to our feet, hugged, and cried a little. Tears of joy overflowing in gratitude to the Father who gives us really really great things. We both got our phones and texted our family and friends of the great news. Of course, everyone replied and were all ecstatic.

It took us about an hour or so before we could regain sleepiness back. We were smiling the whole time.

God is great! All the time!


This morning, everything is just beautiful. We still couldnt get off the natural high of Maela's passing the medical boards. After breakfast, we both took a bath and brought the car for washing (yes, i am on a halfday leave. This is way too much to let go and not celebrate with wifey). While waiting for the car to be fully washed, we got our copy of the Manila Bulletin and easily found Maela's name on the list of successfull examinations.

No plans yet on how to celebrate. Definitely, we will be spending the whole day praising God for this marvelous gift.

To my awesome wifey, congratulations and I LOVE YOU!!!

While wifey is the the exam (medical boards) im alone in the hotel trying to finish at least a page in the wedding album.

yesterday i finished the first page.yey! the concept for the page was to have two portraits on both ends of the page and then the preparation accessories in the middle. The story would be the product (portraits) after the preparation(accesories).

As for today, no clear concept yet but it has something to do with going to the church.

Hope wifey answers all the questions correctly.

Oh by the way, its our 11th month of being married. Congratulations to us :)

Healthy breakfast - Kellogs' Frosties with milk and banana. This will hopefully get me through another day (or at least until lunch time :) )

Today, i officially start my new (not) project - my own wedding album.

This project will have to be finished before March 11 of this year, which incidentally is our first wedding anniversary. You see, ill be dead if i don't finish it by then.

Here's a draft of my schedule:
Feb 3-4
1. Plan layout
2. Separate main pictures to be used
3. Create initial layout
4. Process 5 pictures

Feb 10-11
1. Process 25 pictures

Feb 17-18
1. Process 10 pictures
2. Polish layout

Feb 24-25
1. Submit pictures for printing

So far, i have finished collecting raw pictures from our photographer, that iw ill use for this album. Later today, i will be drafting the layout and start editing at least 5 pages.

I plan to have two albums. One is a spread type 11X14 and the other a 5X7 album. Both will have 40 pages each.

The other day wifey and i went to canvass for the price in digital printing. A 40 page spreadtype album is charged 9500 for printing, excluding the layout. 5X7 is at 2K.

FOr the love of my life, i have to finish this project :) Gudlak to me...
